Educational only $999 iMac


Apple has quietly launched another Mac for educational institutions only. It features Intel Core i3 processor, 21.5'' display, AMD Radeon HD graphics processor, 2GB of RAM, 250GB hard disk and SuperDrive. It comes preinstalled with OS X Lion. The next educational iMac is $1149 and offers Intel Core i5 with 4GB of RAM and 500GB of storage.

Few weeks ago, Apple, discounted MacBook (White) and is currently selling it only to educational institutions. There is no talk about are they ever going to be available for individuals. Alongside of that, Apple is currently offering Mac (iMac, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air) for college students and college stuff at the reduced price with $100 gift card to spend on the Mac App Store.
