You always ask yourself, is it the right time to buy apple product?. Well apple annually updates its iPod, iPad, iPhone and Mac line. So we will help you decide whether to buy or not.


iPod
Apple usually updates its iPod product line at the September media event.  Our suggestion is not to buy an iPod any time before the event.

  • iPod shuffle - Do not buy; update soon
  • iPod nano - Do not buy; update soon
  • iPod classic - Optional; not updated for 2 years
  • iPod touch - Do not buy; update soon


iPhone
iPhone is usually updated at June/July WWDC event. This year it wasn't.

  • iPhone 4 - Do not buy; update is late for app. 2 months


iPad
iPad is usually updated at February/March.

  • iPad 2 - Buy now; mid-product cycle


Mac
  • MacBook Air - Buy now; just updated
  • MacBook Pro - Optional; approaching the end of current generation
  • iMac - Buy now; mid-product cycle
  • Mac Pro - Optional; approaching the end of current generation
  • Mac Mini - Buy now; just updated
